A replica of antique colonial period coffee table handcrafted of mahogany solid wood. Plain solid wood top profiled edges, 2 drawers at front side apron supported by four turning legs.
The coffee table is made according to antique colonial period furniture. It features 2 drawers at the front side and four turning legs like the original design of colonial turning wood. The piece is handcrafted of Indonesia grown mahogany solid wood, using traditional wood furniture construction and joinery.
The coffee table top leaf is made of mahogany solid wood planks glued with loose tongue joint. The board attached to the apron using wooden clips and screw fasteners to allow the solid wood movement while extracting and contracting. Smooth surface and beautiful texture of the mahogany solid wood make the table a perfect piece of wood furniture for living room.
Two small drawers at the front side apron assembled of solid wood using dovetailed joinery and floating board bottom. A solid brass bracket attached to raised front panel as a handle when pulling out the drawer. The drawer employs wooden runner to easing the movement.
The coffee table employs four legs connected each other by plain aprons using tenon mortise joint. Square and rounded outer edge on the leg to apron joint, proportionally turning under the apron to the foot. Plain wood top table supported by four turning legs connected each other by plain apron support the top table.
