The late baroque vitrine is a replica of French antique vitrine handcrafted of Indonesian mahogany wood. The piece is assembled of a wood carving decoration cresting bonnet top hutch and a table base with 2 drawers.
The topmost of the late baroque vitrine is flower and foliage carving that sits on the bonnet shape rail. Cresting the vitrine in dramatic carving flows, enhance the peak of the curve into a beautiful crown.
The top rail of the door frame curved similar to the bonnet top. The top rail edge of the glass door is carved with some scrolls, foliage, and whimsical relief.
The door frame accented with wood carving on the top rail and bead edge on stiles, fixed on to the hutch using solid brass hinges. A 5mm thick beveled glass panel inserted inside the door frame.
An antique brass door lock fitted on the door stile also functioned as a door handle.
The vitrine sides enclosed with beveled glass panels inserted inside bead edges solid wood frame similar to the door.
The intrigue carving of the baroque period is shown on the base section of the vitrine. The section is fully decorated with elaborate carving, foliage relief on the apron, and drawers front accented with leaf carving corners.
Flower carving accented the bottom edges of the aprons curved with bead molding down to the knee of the cabriole legs.
