Victorian bookcase is a replica of an English Victorian period furniture handcrafted out of mahogany solid wood. The book case sectioned into a molding crown hutch on top of block base sideboard. The hutch has 3 glass doors hutch contain two wooden shelves, the sideboard has 3 drawers compartments on top of 3 doors compartments.

The Victorian bookcase features a vigorous appearance with the massive use of solid wood. Large molding on the topmost and curved glass door frame on the front side of the hutch section made this classic bookcase look like it is has stand for a long time and will stand for many seasons to come. The design and construction of this Victorian mahogany wood classic bookcase ensure the piece will last for generations to come.
The bookcase is made of sustainable mahogany wood harvested from Indonesian production forest in Java island, sectioned into a hutch on top of a sideboard. The top section is a glass doors hutch crowned with large molding at the top most. The hutch contain 2 wooden shelves enclosed by 3 glass doors fixed to the hutch using solid brass hinges. Each door has a lock on it wooden frame.
The base section is a sideboard of 3 drawers inline on large compartment enclosed by 3 wooden doors. The drawers assembled with dovetail joint, raised front shape, fitted to the sideboard using wooden runners. The compartment under the drawers contain an adjustable height wooden shelves. The compartments doors assembled of raised panel inside molding edges frame.
The piece is made of solid wood only, its real wood furniture piece, no particleboard or plywood hidden inside the bookcase. We use the best mahogany wood obtained from Perhutani plantation and production forest. The wood is seasoned properly, kiln dried into 12% moisture contents.
The timber is selected to avoid dead knot on the wood we use top build the bookcase.
Our builder handcrafted the Victorian bookcase using traditional furniture construction, tenon mortise joint and floating panel construction. This is to ensure the bookcase will not cracking or warping in any seasons.
The hutch doors using 3 mm glass panels inside solid wood frames, fixed to the hutch using solid brass hinges. An antique lock accented the doors frame at the middle, it used as door lock and pulls. The sideboard doors using solid brass hardware similar to the hutch.
