Victorian period furniture replica

The Victorian display cabinet consists of hutch lying on top of a sideboard. Our builders handcraft the cabinet using mahogany solid wood. The hutch door using 3mm glass, solid brass hinges, and pulls. Solid wood board paneled door enclosing a shelf inside the sideboard, the base of the cabinet.

A beautiful display cabinet crown molding decoration top and projected frontward sideboard base. The piece made of harvested mahogany wood from the sustainable forest in Indonesia. The wood kiln dried into 12% moisture contents to force the wood contracting to its minimal size.

Our craftsman handcrafted the cabinet using traditional solid wood furniture construction and joinery. The cabinet structures constructed using tenon mortise joinery. Raised panels assembled solid wood boards glued with loose tongue joinery. The panels are floating inside the structures to allow the solid wood movement while extracting and contracting.

Hutch

Hutch, top section compartment of the cabinet contain 2 shelves. You can adjust the height of the shelves by moving the steel support to a lower or higher hole.

Two glass doors enclosing the compartment, plain frame with edge profile decoration. The doors fixed to the hutch stiles with steel hinges. A solid brass stick plate pulls attached to the doors as a handle when opening and closing the door.

The hutch sits on top of a sideboard.

Base

The cabinet base is a sideboard that projected forward beyond the hutch. The sideboard features 2 drawers on top of compartment contains a wooden shelf. The compartment enclosed by 2 doors assembled of plain frames and raised panels.

Edge profile decoration top edges block foot support the sideboard at the bottom most.
