Our mahogany wood is comes from state-owned production forest Mahogany in Indonesia. It has a fine, even grain pattern that contributes to its elegant appearance. It is resistant to wear and tear. Less likely to warp, crack, or deform when exposed to changes in humidity and temperature.
Finishes
Treatment : Fine sanding
We apply multiple sanding treatments to furniture wood surface. Starting from 180-200 grit to remove visible roughness or imperfections of the wood surface, and progressively apply finer grits until the wood has a beautifully smooth surface
Color : Salak brown woodstain
We apply a sanding sealer to our furniture before painting or staining the wood surface. The purpose is to fill and seal the pores of the wood, creating a smoother and more even surface, allowing for a smoother final finish, and prevent moisture absorption.
Clear coat : Satin
Also called egg-shel this type of clear coat provides a silky smooth finish retains its pearl-like sheen when dry, reflects more light than matte and stands up well to washing

A simple modern bedside box 2 drawers made of mahogany solid wood. Plain sides solid wood flat board contain 2 drawers, small drawer top, large drawer bottom. Supported by an indented block base on the floor.
The moderna bedside handcrafted out of mahogany wood into a plain simple furniture piece. It employ plain solid wood board assembled of several planks glued with tongue and groove joints on any sides.
As simple as a box with two drawers front side on an indented block base.
Push to open 2 drawers
To maintain the minimalist appearance, the bedside employs ball bearing runners with push to open system. The drawers assembled of solid wood rails with dovetail joinery and solid wood board floating base. Plain front side without pulls, simply push any drawers to pull it out.
Flat block
The back side of the bedside enclosed by solid wood board floating inside plain frame, fastened using screws. This plain simple chest of 2 drawers supported by an indented block foot on the floor.
We select the best mahogany timber for the bedside, kiln dried into 8% moisture content and weathered for several weeks. Although it look like a modern furniture, the piece is handcrafted with traditional joinery.
The wood hand sanded into a smooth surface, painted, and coated with clear polyurethane.
