Rattan wicker ventilated doors

The advantage of using rattan wicker to build a vented storage cabinet is shown in our reclaimed wood vented furniture collection. This rattan doors vented doors buffet is made of reclaimed wood from disassembled traditional teak houses in Indonesia, and aluminum legs.

The buffet body is assembled with solid wood traditional construction that allows solid wood movement lying on top of permanently welded aluminum legs fastened to the bottom side.

The buffet features a compartment containing a wooden shelf enclosed by two mitered joint solid wood frames and rattan wicker doors.

The rattan skin is woven into the door frame using hole-to-hole strand caning techniques. The door fastened to the buffet body using European-style concealed hinges, steel bracket handle attached to the door frame.
