Natural wood surface, no stain and no lacquer, the teak sideboard featured as an Indonesian tradisional furniture piece in several interior magazines.
The sideboard features four dovetailed joint drawers lined under the plain teak board top. Each drawers employ an antique solid brass bracket pulls fixed on the center of the front side.
Our builder handcrafted the sideboard out of Indonesian teak wood using traditional wood furniture construction. Solid wood block base profiled edges assembled of solid wood using mitered joint on its corner made the side board base look solid.
The backside of the base has a large hole to ensure it can release humidity.
The sides and the compartment doors of the sideboard are assembled with floating panels inside tenon mortise joint solid wood frame.
Raised panels made of solid wood board inserted inside the frame allowing the movement of the solid wood extraction and contraction through seasons.
A convex shape bracket fixed onto the each drawers and doors as a pull. The pulls is made of solid brass with antique finish.
Many of our solid brass hardware is made by traditional brass industries in Central Java, Indonesia.
The sideboard doors fitted on the front side using solid brass hinges finial shape pin ends.
The hinges finished with antique bronze color.
