Reclaimed Wood
Our reclaimed teak id salvaged and repurposed from old houses, boats, bridges, and other structures that are being dismantled or renovated. It is supports environmental conservation by reducing deforestation and the impact on natural habitats. Salvaged properly, cleaned and treated to remove any potential contaminants or pests. The availability of reclaimed teak can vary, and it more expensive than other types of wood due to its quality and unique characteristics.
Finishes
Treatment : Fine sanding
We apply multiple sanding treatments to furniture wood surface. Starting from 180-200 grit to remove visible roughness or imperfections of the wood surface, and progressively apply finer grits until the wood has a beautifully smooth surface
Color : Grey washed
We apply a sanding sealer to our furniture before painting or staining the wood surface. The purpose is to fill and seal the pores of the wood, creating a smoother and more even surface, allowing for a smoother final finish, and prevent moisture absorption.
Clear coat : Matte
Provides a permanent, non-gloss finish which protects the color and wood surface. These finishes deliver a smooth, subtle look and show little to no sheen when dry since it prevents the full passage of light. Causing it to reflect in various directions and reducing the sheen and the reflected light.

Reclaimed wood gray washed finish
The reclaimed wood gray washed cabinet consisting of a hutch on top of a sideboard. The piece made of reclaimed teak from demolished old houses in Java village. A simple design assembled with traditional wood furniture construction methods. Tenon mortise frame joinery and floating solid wood panels, hand-finished with gray washed finishes techniques.
Hutch
The top section of the cabinet is a hutch contain 2 solid wood shelves, enclosed by 2 sliding doors. 3 mm glass fitted inside doors frames, a solid brass handles on the middle of the door stiles to ease sliding the doors.
Back side of the hutch enclosed by solid wood board fitted into plain frames with central stile, left and right side employ floating flat panels.
Sideboard
A sideboard on the bottom section has a compartment of 1 wooden shelf. 2 doors assembled of plain frames with a central rail fitted with plain solid wood panels enclosing the compartment at the front side. The doors using sliding mechanism for opening and closing. The compartment base about five inches height from the floor.
