Finishes
Treatment : Fine sanding
We apply multiple sanding treatments to furniture wood surface. Starting from 180-200 grit to remove visible roughness or imperfections of the wood surface, and progressively apply finer grits until the wood has a beautifully smooth surface
Color : Black paint
We apply a sanding sealer to our furniture before painting or staining the wood surface. The purpose is to fill and seal the pores of the wood, creating a smoother and more even surface, allowing for a smoother final finish, and prevent moisture absorption.
Clear coat : Satin
Also called egg-shel this type of clear coat provides a silky smooth finish retains its pearl-like sheen when dry, reflects more light than matte and stands up well to washing

The wave front commode features curly bracket shape front side. Solid wood top leaf curves front edge similar to the drawer front shape, accented with small inlay on the center. 3 drawers with wooden runners, solid brass bracket pulls on the left and right, flower accent on the center.
Cabriole front legs, plain knee, scroll feet. Plain back legs. Floating panels left and right side raised on top, simple panel back side.
Beautifully handcrafted, the piece was made according to the antique Victorian furniture. The bottom edges joint to the legs and scroll feet is perfect.
