King Ralph's throne

The medieval chair is also known as King Ralph's medieval throne has a high backrest cresting with whimsical wood carving decoration. Thick frame and high backrest the medieval chair will become an eye-catching furniture piece in a room, a perfect selection for a statement-furniture.

The medieval chair frame constructed of extra-large back stiles connected with thick cresting rails to form a rectangular shape high backrest. The stiles decorated with medieval wood carving of king face relief, flowers, leaves, and fruit carving. The stiles finished at the topmost with twisted reeds finials.

Medieval chair armrest

The armrest rails and the front leg connected to is the most elaborated part of the medieval chair. The arm rails of the chair upholstered on the top side (manchette/arm pad), the arm rail front end decorated with scroll carving to provide a handle when the person sitting on the chair wants to stand up.

The stiles under the armrest decorated with angel head supporting the rail and spread wings functioned as corner brackets.

Seat

The medieval chair seat front rail carved with king head relief and foliage wood carving connecting the leg on the left side to right side legs. King and queen head carving decorate the legs on the top and pyramid shape in the middle. Monopodium foot ended the front legs at the bottom to stand on the floor. Plain solid wood H stretcher reinforces the chair structure under the seat.

The seat of the medieval chair is upholstered using high-density foam and dacron to provide comfort for the seat, covered with red velvet fabric.

Backside detail

The backrest back side of the throne covered with fabric inside the backrest rails and stiles. Up and down pyramids carving back legs ended at the bottom with bun feet.

The king chair is a large size throne that stands out to become a statement furniture piece in any room. The chair decorated with lion head carving and exaggerated foliage and flower pattern. Handcrafted of mahogany solid wood, the seat and backrest upholstered using buoyant and resilience foam and woven tufted soft fabric.
