Our teak timber comes from the Tectona grandis tree, which is harvested from Teak plantation in Java island, Indonesia. Teak is known for its exceptional durability and longevity. It has a relatively low shrinkage rate, less likely to warp, crack, or split. Finishes
Treatment : Fine sanding
We apply multiple sanding treatments to furniture wood surface. Starting from 180-200 grit to remove visible roughness or imperfections of the wood surface, and progressively apply finer grits until the wood has a beautifully smooth surface
Color : Tea brown woodstain
We apply a sanding sealer to our furniture before painting or staining the wood surface. The purpose is to fill and seal the pores of the wood, creating a smoother and more even surface, allowing for a smoother final finish, and prevent moisture absorption.
Clear coat : Matte
Provides a permanent, non-gloss finish which protects the color and wood surface. These finishes deliver a smooth, subtle look and show little to no sheen when dry since it prevents the full passage of light. Causing it to reflect in various directions and reducing the sheen and the reflected light.

Leather inlay table
A small project custom made an antique coffee table and two side tables.
The leather inlay table custom made project requested by a leather product shop in Jakarta. The client wanted a sturdy center table and two side table in a similar design to complement guest room chairs and sofa in the shop. Also, the table design should look antique and slightly rustic.
The table designs
After proposing some designs, the client chooses following designs to custom made.
The designs features antique brass accessories on the outer corner of the legs reinforcing the table apron to leg joinery, and some antique nails on the top table
Later the client request to change the accessories on the center table corner similar to Javanese antique doors hinges
Handcrafting the table
In response to customer requirement of a low price, we build the table using low-grade teak wood. This low-grade teak vary in texture, grains, and color. As shown on the following center table photo, the teak wood on the legs and aprons has dark and light yellowish color.
Our builder handcrafted the center table using traditional wood furniture construction, employ tenon mortise joint to connect the top apron to the leg. The flat panel on the top table flying inside the frame, this is to prevent cracking and warping in any seasons.
The side table features a drawer under the top leaf, a shelf on tapered feet reinforce the legs. The tables apron accented with teardrops carving similar to Chippendale antique period furniture carving.
We embellished the tables using solid brass antique corner fastener and rounded head nails.
Matching with
The rustique bedframe comes with four L shape low posters on four corners. The bedframe handcrafted out of reclaimed wood from demolished old traditional teak houses in Java village. Steel brushed and whitewashed into a contemporary rustic furniture piece.
