Treatment : Fine sanding
We apply multiple sanding treatments to furniture wood surface. Starting from 180-200 grit to remove visible roughness or imperfections of the wood surface, and progressively apply finer grits until the wood has a beautifully smooth surface
Color : Pecan woodstain
We apply a sanding sealer to our furniture before painting or staining the wood surface. The purpose is to fill and seal the pores of the wood, creating a smoother and more even surface, allowing for a smoother final finish, and prevent moisture absorption.
Clear coat : Satin
Also called egg-shel this type of clear coat provides a silky smooth finish retains its pearl-like sheen when dry, reflects more light than matte and stands up well to washing

Same features front-back sides
Partner desk also known as double desk has the same features on the front and back sides, or at least one side is made as if it has features similar to the other, so partners can use the desk simultaneously.

Partner desk is constructed of 3 drawers desktop section, lying on top of two pedestals base. This desk type was introduced in England in the early 18th century to accommodate senior officials who want a desk that can be used to work together while keeping the convenience and prestige of the pedestal desk.
Partner desks are a very practical piece of furniture and great for home office, many of the partner desks that are made today are made according to the design principles of the partner desk in the 18th century.
Empire partner desk
Empire partner desk is a replica of British antique furniture. The desk has the same features on the back and front sides. Leather inlaid desktop on two pedestals.
The desktop is 6 feet long and 3 feet wide, providing adequate space for two people working facing each other. It is divided into three leather inlaid panels fitted inside rounded edges wooden frame.
Three drawers line up under the desktop, a large drawer above the knee hole between smaller drawers on top of each pedestal. Each drawer is constructed with dovetail joinery, outlined with bead molding edge decoration on the front side.
Empire desk pedestals
The Empire design pedestals that support the desktop are built with the same shape and features. A chest with stacked drawers on the front side and a compartment with doors on the backside, supported by carving decoration corner bracket legs.
This allows the desk to have all the drawers on the front side and a compartment with doors on the other side and vice versa. Or, set it by default, a compartment with doors and drawers on either side.
Colonial partner desk
The colonial partner desk is handcrafted according to Victorian-period furniture designs. It comes with a simpler design, solid wood flat top on two block base pedestals.
The colonial partner desk has 7 drawers and a compartment enclosed by a door at the front side. The back side of the desk was made to appear to have the same features, fake drawers and a door.
Both pedestals have the same size and decorations. The left side pedestal has a compartment enclosed by a door, and the right side pedestal has three drawers stacked. All four corners of the pedestals are accented with reeded columns.
Louis XV partner desk
The Louis XV period partner desk features a solid wood top leaf fixed on a sleigh shape apron. Three drawers under the top leaf have a similar shape to the apron making the desktop section appear solid and thick.
Drawers divide into 2 smaller drawers the same width as the compartments below, and 1 large center drawer above the knee holes. Raised panel construction and corner bracket legs characterize this partner desk in addition to the sleigh shape apron.
Mahogany wood
These partner desks are made of sustainable mahogany from state-owned production forests. Our builder handcrafted them with traditional wood furniture construction which allows the solid wood movement while extracting and contracting through seasons.
Solid wood frames constructed with tenon mortise joinery fitted with floating central panel. All drawers are built with dovetail joints and floating board bases, and the front face of the drawers is decorated with bead molding edges. A solid brass bracket plate pulls attached to the center of the drawer's front face.
