Finishes
Treatment : Fine sanding
We apply multiple sanding treatments to furniture wood surface. Starting from 180-200 grit to remove visible roughness or imperfections of the wood surface, and progressively apply finer grits until the wood has a beautifully smooth surface
Color : Dark candy woodstain
We apply a sanding sealer to our furniture before painting or staining the wood surface. The purpose is to fill and seal the pores of the wood, creating a smoother and more even surface, allowing for a smoother final finish, and prevent moisture absorption.
Clear coat : Satin
Also called egg-shel this type of clear coat provides a silky smooth finish retains its pearl-like sheen when dry, reflects more light than matte and stands up well to washing

The regency scrolling arm rests dining chair popular in Indonesia during Raffles colonization of Java and Sumatera. We reproduce the dining chair to bring back the nostalgia of the past into your dining room.
The regency scrolling armchair is handcrafted out of plantation harvested teak wood. Employs wood turning legs on the front side and curved outward legs on the back legs.
The scrolling arm rests on the side slide down from the back stiles and scrolling on top of the front legs.
The chair seat and backrest made of rattan wicker hand woven directly into the wood frame using hole-to-hole strand caning pattern, the most reliable caning techniques.

Kiln dried
The teak wood is kiln dried into 12% moisture contents (inside the kiln dry facility), may increase into 15 - 18% moisture contents while we working on it.
