Mahogany Wood

Our mahogany wood is comes from state-owned production forest Mahogany in Indonesia. It has a fine, even grain pattern that contributes to its elegant appearance. It is resistant to wear and tear. Less likely to warp, crack, or deform when exposed to changes in humidity and temperature.
Finishes
Treatment : Fine sanding
We apply multiple sanding treatments to furniture wood surface. Starting from 180-200 grit to remove visible roughness or imperfections of the wood surface, and progressively apply finer grits until the wood has a beautifully smooth surface
Color : Pecan woodstain
We apply a sanding sealer to our furniture before painting or staining the wood surface. The purpose is to fill and seal the pores of the wood, creating a smoother and more even surface, allowing for a smoother final finish, and prevent moisture absorption.
Clear coat : Satin
Also called egg-shel this type of clear coat provides a silky smooth finish retains its pearl-like sheen when dry, reflects more light than matte and stands up well to washing

Mahogany wood breakfront dresser
Beautiful French classic chest of 6 drawers handcrafted of mahogany solid wood. Breakfront central section contain 2 drawers, cabriole four legs. Solid brass knob and bracket plate drawer pulls.
A French classic dresser handcrafted of mahogany solid wood. The dresser has a central section that projects farther forward than either section on other side. Breakfront furniture style is developed in late 18th design when Neo-classical furniture design began to emerge.
The breakfront dresser has six drawers at the front side. Two large drawers stacked at the forwarded ahead central section, and 2 smaller drawers stacked on each recessed section of the front side.
Mahogany solid wood
The piece is made of Indonesian reddish brown mahogany wood, weathered properly and kiln dried into 12% moisture content. This is to ensure the dresser is made into high end furniture piece without any cracking and splitting problem.
The structure of the dresser is assembled using tenon mortise joint, with raised panels that give additional dimension to the dresser at the left and right side.
Top side of the dresser is covered with solid wood, break front in similar shape to the dresser body. The top leaf edges is decorated with bead rounded shape to soften and protect the edge against splitting.
Four cabriole legs with whorl feet connected by raised aprons support the dresser body. The apron and leg edges decorated with round bead that ended at the scrolling feet.
Finishing
The piece is finished in standard preparation of wood furniture pieces, sanding down with multiple grid of sandpaper. We apply 3 times sanding sealer to ensure the wood surface as smooth as possible, stain spray, and clear top coat spray.

The current dresser using solid brass bracket plat pulls on 2 large drawers on central section, and solid brass knob pulls at either recessed side.
